When designing garments for Wacker Clothing Company we always draw inspiration from classic styles, the people and the past that have shaped who we are today.
The Wacker family business 'Morgan & Wacker' began in 1917 selling motorcycles and boats. Second generation in the family business was Bruce Wacker. The uniform in the early days of business was a tailored short sleeve shirt.
We wanted to recreate this classic short sleeve white shirt with pockets in his memory and as a nod to the fashion of the 1950s with a few modern twists like the French seam detail that elongates the body and use of limited edition white slub linen.
